A few facts about the legendary FreeRP project based on FiveM

Let's start simple and talk about the current activity on "Frishka," which was previously on the FiveM platform but has now cracked the FiveM platform's open source code, removing the authentication layer for the CFX.RE and Fivem services, and calling it its own launcher.

As a legend and the leading role-playing teacher in the entire CIS, it has stooped to "Yeah, guys, we're making Rage, we're just trying to make money" (proof on Discord).

How did the transformation from a HARD RP project to a LOW RP go?

It all started when the era of real gaming experience wasn't paying dividends, and the owner with nickname BAYMAX project was suffering only losses. At a certain point, he realized he needed to start making money. Moreover, after the project was banned from the Fivem platform and the difficult monetization process through Tebex (which would have required paying a commission on player transactions and problems with payments from the CIS), the main figure behind "Frishka" had an idea: "Why not fix Fivem's source code so we stop paying commissions, as well as FiveM for the ability to stream custom clothing and for OneSync technology?" So, BAYMAX decided to act.

"OUR" FREERP Launcher

To bypass a ban from Rockstar's official partner, namely FiveM, you must either create a second account, stop relying entirely on FiveM by writing your own wrapper, or appeal the ban. Bingo, FREERP decides to crack the launcher, and this is what players get:

We open the vaunted launcher in the task manager and see FreeM by Cfx.re – FREE PROD.
I'm not condemning this type of development for monetization, but don't say that this is your launcher and that's it. You could also say that we wrote a wrapper on top of FiveM or were inspired by FiveM, like Majestic RP did on top of RAGE.MP, and ALT:V wrote its own wrapper.

LOW RP for players

Previously, in its heyday, FREERP was known for its very strict rules and became a mentor to many players, despite some administration members who overdid it. With the advent of server monetization, everything changed dramatically, namely, caps, missions, ID purchases for ridiculous prices, and soon a battle pass will be added.

What will this entail, and what has it entailed? It's very simple: less control over players. Most of the new players come from platforms like RAGE, who don't really understand roleplaying and can often OOC in IC, including phrases like, "Press E and give me your Discord." Furthermore, the interface has become very reminiscent of early Majestic, which confirms that best practices are worth emulating.

Okay, interface, how do we bypass the HARD RP community?

Attracting Players

Let's ignore the fact that the level of RP is falling, but in order to foist a second-rate product on people, the FREERP team decided to take a bold step: assemble a team without pay, not necessarily with qualifications. Interestingly, one of their pseudo-SMM specialists came up with an idea that, as an SEO specialist, I completely didn't understand: the SMM "specialist" writes that when a browser searches for "Hard RP," it's not their project that's being searched for; it needs to be fixed. Think about it: an SMM specialist writes for an SEO specialist. SMM deals with content and social media targeting, while SEO is responsible for search results in Google, Yandex, Bing, and Yahoo. I'm shocked at the kind of people this project can recruit.

And yes, to prove your professionalism, instead of calling it a search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo), call it a browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge).

A Bygone Era

At the dawn of its time, Amazing FreeRP offered unforgettable emotions with its interiors and mappings by UncleJust, including interesting mechanics from Kandidata and Shusha, its betrothed. It was during those times, when their server had 32-128 slots, that a vibrant era began, which nurtured many players, including a boost for many streamers. Friska also retrained many Rage players during that time.
